Frequently Asked Questions

What is Watkins all about?

Watkins makes and markets more than 375 products for consumers and its Sales Associates.  They have been doing this for more than 140 years.  Watkins distributes their products through its special network of Associates throughout North America.  The Associates are independent contractors who own and operate their Watkins Home and Family businesses.  The Associates are also “heavy users” of Watkins products because they choose to and they depend on personal testimony for their success.

What are some Watkins products?

Watkins does not make every product a consumer wants; it only makes a product when it can make it better than consumers can buy in a store and add value to the product.  Products are separated into four basic “consumer use” categories: Gourmet Pantry, Bath & Body, Home Remedies, and Home Care.

How are Watkins products sold?

All products are sold throughout Watkins Direct Selling / Network marketing independent Home and Family Business Associates, all of whom start-out immediately at a 25% discount and then work to reach 39% plus extra bonuses.  They are also able to build their own teams of Associates from whom the earn additional commissions and bonuses.

How much money can I make with Watkins?

That depends how successful you want to be.  All Associates earn commissions on every sale.  You earn a 25% profit on your all of your retail sales volume and can earn up to 14% more as your business grows.  You also make bonus income on the sales of other Associates you sponsor.  Your total income potential is only limited by your drive and creativity to sell the products.

Can I work part-time?

Yes.  As a Watkins Associate you are able to set your own hours, part-time or full-time.  Many Associates choose to keep their full-time jobs while supplementing their income selling Watkins Products

I n addition to investing in the Business Assortment and signing the international Agreement, you need to be at least 18 years of age, a citizen of the USA or Canada and have a valid Social Security Number, Federal ID or Social Insurance number.

Do I have to meet monthly sales quotas to continue being an Associate?

Absolutely not.  Watkins places no sales requirements on your business.  However, the more you do sell the greater your income will be.

Do I have to have a “Sponsor”?

Yes.  Having a Sponsor is not only required but critical in building success.

What is the common activity that all Associates should follow to be successful?

Buy and use Watkins products in place of other products which you are presently using.  No Watkins Associate has ever been successful without becoming her/his own best customer first.

Do I have to have email?

You do not but it is highly recommended.  Most of Watkins communications with its Associates come via email.
